What is included in Registration

Registration Fees

This season, Mentor Youth Wrestling is introducing a skill-level based program to better meet the needs of every wrestler. Instead of a one-size-fits-all registration fee, all wrestlers will pay a base registration fee, with additional program fees based on the training level selected.

Base Registration Fee (Required for All Wrestlers) $155.00

The base registration fee covers the essential costs of participating in Mentor Youth Wrestling, including:

  • Local league registration ($5.00)
  • USA Wrestling membership and athlete insurance (required for competition eligibility) ($30.00)
  • Program administration and operations, including website and registration platform fees, accounting and communication tools, general club expenses, practice equipment and shared wrestling gear, as well as coach certifications, background checks, and required training. ($120.00)

Level-Based Program Fees

Additional fees vary depending on the wrestler's training level and reflect the coaching time, practice frequency, competition schedule, and resources provided for each program.

Program levels include:

  • Beginner – Designed for first-year and developing wrestlers.
  • Intermediate – For wrestlers who have mastered the fundamentals and are continuing to build technique and competitiveness.
  • Advanced – For experienced, competition-focused wrestlers seeking higher-level coaching and tournament opportunities.

Our goal is to provide every wrestler with the appropriate level of instruction while keeping registration fees fair and aligned with the training and opportunities each athlete receives.

What we can get if we fundraise

End of Year Banquet: Meal, Certificates, & Gift (Swag Bags for 6th graders) | $30.00

Crewneck | $30.00 | Custom team sweatshirt for each wrestler

Total: $60.00

If our fundraising efforts exceed our financial needs, additional opportunities and enhancements may become available for our wrestlers throughout the season.
