📝 Mentor Youth Wrestling Club Registration

📌 Eligibility

• Open to children in Grades K–6
• Must reside in Mentor or neighboring communities
• Weight classes: 45–175 lbs
• All wrestlers must submit a copy of their birth certificate for age verification

🛠️ What This Registration Includes

This registration session will allow you to:

• Enter contact information
• Sign up your child for team participation
• Complete all required waivers
• Submit payment through our secure portal

To complete registration, please have one of the following ready:

• Visa
• MasterCard
• Discover
• ACH Bank Account

💡 Tip: Make sure all information is entered accurately on each page to avoid delays in processing your registration.

💲 Registration Fee & Sibling Discount

• Registration Cost: $155 per wrestler
• Sibling Discount: If you're registering more than one child, use the discount code SIBLING25 when registering each additional child after the first.

✅ How to Use the Discount Code

• Child 1: $155 – No code entered
• Child 2: $130 – Enter code SIBLING25 at checkout
• Child 3: $130 – Enter code SIBLING25 again at checkout

💡 Use the code SIBLING25 for each additional child after the first to receive $25 off per child.

🙌 Volunteering Makes Our Season Possible!

Mentor Youth Wrestling Club is a community-driven program, and we rely on our families' support to ensure a successful season.

We host two league duals (in December and January) and a fundraiser in November. These events cannot run without the help of dedicated volunteers.

🕒 Volunteer Commitment

• Each family is required to complete 5-10 hours of volunteer service across the season.
• Volunteer roles may include set-up, admissions, concessions, scorekeeping, cleanup, and more.
• Your time makes a real impact — volunteering helps us keep costs down and create a positive experience for all wrestlers.

💵 Buy-Out Option

We understand that not all families may be able to volunteer. If you are unable to meet the 5-10-hour requirement, we offer a buy-out option during registration.

• One buy-out per family is sufficient, even if registering multiple children.
• In-person help is highly preferred and strongly encouraged — your presence supports the team and builds community.

📝 Registration Instructions for Volunteering / Buy-Out

• If registering multiple children:
• For Child 1, choose either "Volunteer" or "Buy-Out"
• For Child 2 and beyond, select "Volunteer" to avoid being charged again

🏋️‍♂️ What Your Wrestler Needs for Practice

To ensure your child is safe, comfortable, and prepared for practice, please make sure they have the following:

✅ Required Gear

• Wrestling Shoes - Available at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Amazon, or other sporting goods retailers.

The club also has a limited number of pairs available to borrow.

• Headgear (Required only if your child is competing)

We also have loaner headgear available for those who need it.

• Athletic Clothing
• T-shirt or compression shirt
• Athletic shorts (no zippers or pockets)
• Mouthguard (Required if your child has braces)
• Reusable Water Bottle - Staying hydrated is essential — please label it with your child’s name.

🎒 Optional

• Gym Bag (Labeled with Name) - Helps keep gear organized and prevents lost items.
